As a small business I would really appericate your time in reading this. I would love you to share it so it reaches all our customers.

We feel we need to let you know. Just eat is crippling all small businesses that use it. They take over 20 percent per order and an order fee for accepting the order. As their commission.

Here is a small example of a previous invoice from one of our tills. We made £1200 and will receive just over £700. 😵

*We have always used our own drivers as well*

We have cancelled our contracts with just eat and will be no longer using them at the end of the month.

We would appericate all customers to start using foodhub if you don't already. This is set at a weekly fee which is less than £20 a week. Or calling our store on 0151 630 6871.

You may have noticed we have been running discounts and promotions with foodhub and alot of have gone back to ordering on this platform and it means alot us.

Thanks for taking your time to read this, we look forward to see you ordering with us soon! Aswell as supporting all of our local businesses using foodhub!

We are in unprecedented times where we are seeing high levels of inflation and food inflation is even higher.

Most of the supplies we use in the fish and chip industry have increased drastically in price and we are expecting this to continue for some considerable time. Other products are simply not available and we have seen suppliers move away from the sector.

Fish and chip shops do feel the effect of these increases more than most cuisines as our margins are much tighter. The price of fish is comparable to steak in the supermarkets.

As a result of this, and our commitment to ensuring a high quality good value product we may regrettably be forced to review our prices to reflect the rising costs our Industry is facing.
