We’re ramping up for autumn and will be pickling, preserving, fermenting and storing for the months to come.💪

Fruit, veg, herbs, edible flowers. Wonky welcome. Weird welcome. 🍓🌼🫛🍇🌸🌽🥕

That’s it really. If you’ve got too much, we have a kitchen. Seems silly not to.

TIME FLIES 😮

It’s been nearly 7 years since we last saw Joel. He and Johnny opened Broad Street together, and since then life has really exploded for everyone. A combined 3 children and 3 businesses later we were really excited to go and visit him last week at Soulshine in Bridport.

It’s truly wonderful to have parted ways with someone close to you to discover years that the way life has unfolded means you have more in common than ever. It’s fantastic to see any business like this thriving, but to have followed his story from asparagus farm, all away round the world and back to Dorest feels really special.

It’s hard to stress enough how fantastic both Soulshine and Goose and Badger Cafe & Bar are. The kind of attention to detail across the board which would make anyone (mistakenly!!) think that owning a hospitality business must be a dream (spoiler: its not!) But they have created something truly special, so if you’re down that way please pop in and send our love ❤️

PS - the kids also completely vouch for the experience, cheese toastie getting a 10/10 from the smallest
