Zero has decided as we wouldn't take him on holiday that he wants to go snorkeling instead after all the rain 🤣. Please don't judge him 😂

Due to holidays, illness and a bereavement the tearooms is unable to open today, Carlton House - Antiques, Crafts and gifts will be open as normal. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and the tearooms will open again as normal from 10am tomorrow xx

Kids love Harry Potter and want to make these cute cupcakes? Then book them on to holiday cupcake making session at the tearooms, running every Tuesday from 10.30 starting the 28th July. £10 a session with everything included, booking essential and an adult must remain on site at all times.

So we have been busy in the kitchen today 😊 making orange and chocolate chip scones served with homemade orange curd and clotted cream. Now its a hard job but someone had to taste test these little beauties and Karen and I are pleased to announce they passed with flying colours 🤣

Some of the amazing cupcakes the children have created today! The cupcakes are made from scratch and then decorated by children. Sessions are running every Tuesday morning at 10.30am during the summer holidays, booking required. The cost is £10 per child with all materials provided including a box to take them home in (if they make that far 😊). A responsible adult to remain on site at all times

So we have been asked a lot about places to park when visiting at Carlton House and tearooms, and there are plenty of options. You are welcome to park in front of the building if spaces are available, but please park considerately as we only have 5 spaces, and please dont park in front of our neighbours. There is free parking at Halfords but it strictly 90 minutes. You can park at the miners welfare car park which £1 for 2 hours, £1.50 for 4 hours or there is parking at the railway station which is 60p for 2 hours or £2.20 for all day

So Zero wants to go on holiday, but we haven't gotten the heart to tell him that they dont allow unaccompanied werewolves on planes!
