👩‍🔬 Women in STEM: There's more than one way in!

🎤 We're delighted to introduce Louise Macdonald as our next Women in STEM speaker at the Fusion Energy Café this October.

🧠 Louise is a psychologist with 15 years experience working in a variety of roles across healthcare, currently working within an NHS specialist Memory Assessment Service. Her background includes neuropsychology, trauma, rehabilitation, physical health and research.

👤 Passionate about applying psychology and Human Factors beyond healthcare, Louise explores how understanding human performance can improve safety, resilience and effectiveness in engineering and other safety-critical industries.

💡 She will share her journey into STEM, highlighting transferable skills, networking and the value of exploring non-traditional career pathways.

Are you a Bassetlaw or West Lindsey resident aged 18+ who's not in full-time education, employment or training?

You can gain exclusive access to the ground-breaking STEP Fusion project through a 2-week work experience placement, funded by TÜV SÜD.

✅ No formal qualifications required.
✅ Placement during September or October.
✅ Activities on site will vary, so applicants must be able to undertake the essential duties safely.
