It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dad Michael Drabble, who passed away peacefully on 17th July, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

Michael was a well-known and much-loved friend to many, and a familiar face at Carlton Fish Bar. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Details

Monday 10th August at 11:30am
St John’s Church, Carlton-in-Lindrick

A private family cremation will take place afterwards.

Everyone is warmly invited to join the family for the wake following the church service at Carlton Parish Centre, Carlton-in-Lindrick, to celebrate Michael’s life and share memories together.

This Friday 5th June 2026 is National Fish & Chip day 🐟 🍟 so we thought we would have a raffle 🎟️ the prizes are:

1st prize £20 cash
2nd and 3rd prize is one of 2 x £10 vouchers to be spent in the chippy
4th 5th and 6th prize is a choice of a Red White or Sparkling wine 🍾 🍷

The numbers are £2 each or 3 for £5 we will draw the raffle on Friday 12th June 🥳 All profits going to Thornberry Animal Sanctuary ♥️🩵
