Remaining Balances!
For normal celebration orders the final payment date is 7 days before collection/delivery, with weddings being 14 days before.
I work on a schedule, and timing is important. To keep costs as low as possible I order stock from companies which then need to be delivered. The stock isnt ordered until final balances are paid. Whilst I understand things happen and cakes are a luxury, i ask that you TALK to me to figure out a way around it. Not just ignoring me. If I dont order the stock to be shipped in time this effects the order being made, or the alternative is I have to travel to collect stock (45 min each way) and it can cost more. I shouldnt have to be fannying around and chasing payments, or chasing to get stock for orders if you pay late. It messes up the whole weeks plans and regularly has me chasing my tail to accommodate. I live what I do, please respect my terms and conditions. I state all the payment info and dates befire people book in. If I dont hear from you after the final payment date your orders will be cancelled unfortunately. I refuse to make something spending hours paying out my own pocket to potentially not have the order collected. Not only does this waste my time but it wastes money on something when I already charge a lot less than I should for cakes meaning I dont even get minimum wage. Its a hard industry and I try my absolute hardest to keep costs down for my customers so you can have quality products for a reasonable cost. If you have issues paying the remaining balance please just talk to me, I dont bite!
