Orchard teas Purchase a drink or ice cream from Di's tearoom on a tranquil part of the canal. A lovely little tea room at Turner wood by the side of the canal.

Sorry there is no parking at turnerwood it's resident parking only you can walk from kiverton park station or walk up the canal from Shireoaks You can sit back and relax, with an ice cream or drink.

🚣‍♂️🌿 ENGLISHTOURISM WEEK - Chesterfield Canal / Turnerwood🌿🚴‍♂️

Turnerwood, one of my favourite corners of Rother Valley, is a stunning and peaceful spot along the Chesterfield Canal. The canal is a real hidden gem, perfect for a walk, cycle, or just taking in our beautiful countryside.

But these wonderful green spaces are under threat. Locally, Labour want to cover areas like this with battery storage units and solar panels, destroying the character of our countryside. We must fight to protect our heritage, not concrete over it.

In all the times I’ve been along the canal, I’ve never managed to catch Orchard teas when it’s open – despite it being highly recommended! If you do get a chance to pop in, please do send me a picture! ☕🍰

🅿️A quick tip if you’re visiting Turnerwood – there’s NO PUBLIC PARKING, so it’s best to walk or cycle. It’s an easy walk from Kiveton Park station!
