🍷 A journey six months in the making… and it's finally here.
For more than 20 years, our mission at Benedictos has never changed.
To serve honest Italian food, create unforgettable memories, and make every guest feel like family.
So when the time came to create our own house wines, we knew one thing...
We weren't going to simply put our name on someone else's bottle.
If it was going to carry the Benedictos name, it had to tell our story.
That's when Rizzo, Tano and Gianluca Tilotta joined forces and set off on a journey across Italy to find the perfect winery. A producer that shared our passion for authenticity, tradition and quality above everything else.
The journey eventually led us home...
To Copertino, in the heart of Salento, Puglia.
For Rizzo, this wasn't just another destination. It was home. Having grown up just a stone's throw away from the historic Cupertinum Winery, one of Puglia's oldest and most respected cooperative wineries, producing outstanding wines since 1935, this collaboration felt incredibly personal.
But we didn't stop at choosing a winery.
Rizzo spent weeks in Copertino during the harvest, getting his hands dirty, working alongside the winemakers, tasting... and then tasting some more! Together with Giuseppe and the Cupertinum family, every decision was made with one simple question in mind:
"Would this be the perfect wine to enjoy at Benedictos?"
Later, Giuseppe and his family travelled to Worcester to experience Benedictos for themselves. They met our incredible team, enjoyed our food, experienced the atmosphere and understood what makes Benedictos so unique.
Only then did everything come together.
After months of blending, refining, paperwork, transport logistics and ensuring everything complied with UK regulations, we finally had our wines.
Not wines chosen from a catalogue...
Wines created together.
Crafted to perfectly complement the food we proudly serve every day.
Delicious.
Honest.
Authentic.
Simple.
Just like Italy itself.
Then came the fun part...

We could have created something elegant, classic and traditional.
But that's not who we are.
Anyone who knows Benedictos knows we're serious about hospitality... but we never take ourselves too seriously.
So who better to represent our house wines than the two people who have helped shape Benedictos into what it is today...
Tano and Gianluca Tilotta.
A fun label that reflects the personalities behind the restaurant.
Because while the labels may make you smile...
The wine inside is something we take incredibly seriously.

🥂 Benedictos Sparkling Extra Dry

🤍 Benedictos Bianco
A vibrant and refreshing white wine with aromas of citrus fruits, orchard apples and delicate floral notes. Smooth, crisp and made to pair beautifully with seafood, pasta and many of our favourite Benedictos dishes.
🌸 Benedictos Rosato
Bright, fresh and full of character, offering delicate aromas of wild berries and summer fruits with a soft, refreshing finish. The perfect companion for pizza, light pasta dishes or simply enjoying with friends.
❤️ Benedictos Rosso
Rich, smooth and wonderfully balanced, packed with ripe dark fruit flavours, gentle spice and velvety tannins. A proper Italian red made for sharing around the table with great food and even better company.
Every bottle is produced exclusively for Benedictos in Salento, Puglia.
