Oktoberfest 2026, what a week!
Community, It’s a word we use a lot here at The Wheatsheaf, but this week has reminded us just how special our little community really is.
Six days of laughter, dancing, trivia, live music, unforgettable moments and, of course, plenty of German bier! The turnout has been nothing short of incredible, and the support you’ve shown us has been truly overwhelming.
Community is at the heart of everything we do. Creating a place where everyone feels welcome, comfortable and part of something special is what we pride ourselves on. This week has been a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do.
To every single person who joined us, raised a glass, sang along, danced or simply popped in for a pint, thank you! You are what makes The Wheatsheaf what it is.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the people behind the scenes.
A massive thank you to Kieran and Mike for organising and hosting the entire week, and an equally huge thank you to Kian, Harry and Mary, who have worked tirelessly to keep the bier flowing, the atmosphere buzzing and the service at its very best. You absolutely smashed it, and we couldn’t be prouder of the team!
Six days, countless memories and one incredible community.
Oktoberfest 2026 has been a roaring success, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got up our sleeves next.
