The Live and Let Live is one of the oldest buildings on Bringsty common. This 16th Century former cider house is the only thatched pub in Herefordshire. In 2006 the renovation work on the Live and Let Live started, using materials that is fitting of this gracious old building including putting the thatched roof back on. The owner created a unique pub and restaurant in a setting that is unsurpassed

in this current day and age. The 'Live' is a country pub & restaurant in every sense of the word. Set back from the main road deep on to Bringsty common it is a place of solitude which allows you to escape the pressures of modern life, enjoy a meal, and have a drink alongside 220 acres of Herefordshire countryside and wildlife. The ‘Live’ has been restored using materials that are fitting of this gracious old building, what has been created is a truly unique pub and restaurant in a setting that is unsurpassed in this current day and age. With the views across the Common and Malvern Hills in the distance, the ‘Live’ offers a high standard of quality food with an ever-changing menu to suit the seasons and local produce available. There is an extensive garden area to relax and be one with nature in the Summer or within the pub a beautiful large open fire roaring away keeping you warm in winter..

After the August Bank Holiday, we’ll be closing our doors for the winter and getting ready for a brand-new summer season at The Live & Let Live! 🌿🍻

Our last day will be Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August, and we’ll be closing at 5pm. ❤️

From then on, we’ll be embracing what we love most about this beautiful pub and its surroundings and becoming a seasonal summer pub, open from Easter through to the August Bank Holiday.

We’ll be reopening on Good Friday, 26th March 2027, ready for another summer of sunny afternoons, cold drinks, good food, events and making the most of our gorgeous corner of the countryside. 🌞🌳🍻

We want to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who has supported us, visited us, shared our posts, recommended us and helped make this year so special. ❤️

We’ve still got the rest of August to enjoy together, so make sure you come and see us before we close for the winter!

Then, on Good Friday, we’ll be back — refreshed, ready and looking forward to another fantastic summer! ☀️
