Some favourites have been with us from the very beginning.

Clearwater Brewery has long been part of the story at The Farmers Arms , local b**r, thoughtfully brewed and poured at our bar since the early days.

It’s a relationship built on a shared appreciation for good things made well, close to home. From familiar favourites to a perfectly poured pint at the end of the day, Clearwater has become a firm fixture here and one we’re always proud to serve.

Great b**r, good company and a local connection that has stood the test of time. Here’s to many more pints to come.

Our menu follows the season and the landscape around us, bringing together ingredients grown, caught and reared close to home. Clovelly mackerel, caught by our Head Chef Toby Neal, simply cooked and full of the sea; roasted squash with creamy polenta; and a raspberry trifle made with the last of the season’s raspberries from Birch Farm.

These are dishes rooted in their ingredients ,familiar, generous and quietly shaped by autumn in North Devon. From boats along the coast to growers and farms on our doorstep, the menu celebrates the people and produce that make this corner of the country so special.

A little autumn update from The Farmers Arms.

As the seasons begin to turn, so do our opening hours. We’ll now be welcoming you from Wednesday to Sunday, with lunch and dinner served throughout the week and a leisurely Sunday lunch to round things off.

Our new autumn opening hours are above. Reservations can be made via our website, by email or by telephone.
