Amazing few days!

The sunsets, the heat, the sea, seeing everyone enjoy the weather by the coast, it’s all part of the summer season for us and we love it!

In the winter when Woolaocmbe is quite, it’s days like the last few that I think about and how I will never wrap my head around the contrast in busyness to slumber at the end of the summer/ autumn!

I love every season of this little village X

We have fans keeping our staff cool and our building sits on the shady side of the street until the evening!

A little reminder the sea gave me the other night, naturally we reflect and after some long waits over the bank holiday play on my mind, I try to remember we’re serving people food on holiday and that’s actually such a lovely thing.

People come here to slow down, enjoy themselves, feel looked after, and make memories and we enjoy providing all of those things. We care deeply and work hard but sometimes it’s good to gently remember what this is all about.

I’m so happy that those who came to North Devon this half term got this weather. I’ve seen so many rain coats and broken umbrellas from the wind on what feels like a lot of school holidays, nonetheless still fun but you can’t beat this!
