❤️ Saying Goodbye to Angus ❤️

This hasn’t been an easy post to write… 🥹 Unfortunately, the time has come for us to say goodbye to Angus, as he’s moving up in the world and has been offered an opportunity that will do him the world of good! ❤️

From the young, shy lad who first walked into the pub with his dad and barely said a word to anyone, to the lad who joined our team, slowly came out of his shell and grew into the confident, amazing young man we see today. It’s been an absolute pleasure watching you grow, and we couldn’t be prouder of you! 🥹❤️

We can’t thank you enough for all your hard work, dedication, and for putting up with us! 😂 You’ve been a huge part of our team, and you’ll certainly be missed.

We wish you nothing but luck and success in this next chapter. We’re so proud of the lad you’ve become, and we have no doubt you’re going to absolutely smash it! 🙌❤️

So, on 15th November, please come and join us at The Burcott Inn as we raise a glass (and probably shed a few tears! 🥹) to say goodbye to Angus and give him the send-off he deserves! 🥂🍻

🌾🍂 CELEBRATING THE HARVEST FESTIVAL SEASON! 🍂🌾

Harvest Festival is a time to celebrate the food we enjoy, give thanks to our farmers and appreciate the hard work that goes into bringing food from the fields to our tables. 🚜❤️

From freshly harvested apples 🍎 and potatoes 🥔 to carrots 🥕, wheat 🌾 and other delicious fruit and vegetables, there’s so much to appreciate!

Here at The Burcott Inn, we love celebrating good food, local produce and the wonderful community around us. 🍻❤️

So, let’s raise a glass to our farmers, local producers and everyone who helps put food on our tables! 🌾

Our homemade pickled onions and chunky carrot chutney have been pickling away for nearly 5 weeks and they’re nearly ready! 🤤

They’ll be on sale inside the pub from the start of November. Perfect for taking home, adding to a cheeseboard, or enjoying with your favourite pub grub! 🍻🧀
