A note to our wonderful guests 🤍
As you know, we don’t like to post anything negative on our social media accounts.
However last Saturday, we had to turn away several tables due to being fully booked. We hate turning any group away, as we love welcoming every single one of you and will always try our best to squeeze you in.
What made this extra difficult was that we had 4-5 tables who had booked but did not turn up.
It’s no secret that hospitality is undergoing a very difficult period and as a small, family-run cafe, it hugely impacts our business when a table doesn’t turn up without letting us know. Every no show means an empty table that could have been given to someone we had to turn away.
We totally understand that life happens and sometimes you can no longer make your reservation. All we ask if that you let us know, either by modifying/cancelling your booking online (if you booked through our website) or giving us a quick call.
Thank you so much for understanding, and thank you for being the kind of community that keeps our family cafe going. We really do appreciate every single one of you.
