Comedy Club 1st Thursday of month Originally a Mitchells & Butlers Off-Licence it was granted Public House Status in 1958 to coincide with local house building regeneration in the area. The first Landlord was an ex-soldier who

served with The Chindit Regiment in Burma during World War II and he named the pub after his comrades 'The Chindits'. We pride ourselves on serving only the best-kept cask ales and can boast we are the only Public House in Wolverhampton to be awarded the Cask Marque consecutively for over 20 years. The pub is popular on match days and welcome all. We have up to six hands pulled cask beers which are constantly changing so keep an eye on our Facebook for what's on and for the up and coming beers in the cellar. Live music has been a focal point for well over a decade at The Chindit and our Friday nights offer a wide range of musical genres to suit all tastes. Dave and the Team

An incredible day yesterday at our CHINFEST, myself and Dave Belton Billy Marshall David wish to give a really huge thank you to Dave Hill (the strat) and James Kidson for organising a fantastic showcase of our favourite musicians from our Open Mic night and our Friday night music, favourite song of the day for me was, Getting away with it by james, I think we did ❤️ Thank you everyone who took part, especially Dan who backed many of the acts on drums throughout the day, to those who supported and special thanks to Thomas, Tony, Elizabeth Blundell on the tombola James and James for being very busy. Thank you for all your donations (keep them coming if haven't donated yet) we made £376.85 so far for midlands air ambulance. Well done everyone 👏👏👏❤️❤️
