Black Lion Wolsingham Enjoy a pint, by yourself, with friends or come & make friends. Food Monday to Wednesday & Saturdays we have pizzas from our wood fired pizza oven.

We pride ourselves on first class ales & wines, lots of no alcohol drinks as well as grown-up pop! We have an ever changing selection of real ales as well as our house ale "Old Herbert" produced for us by High House Farm Brewery. If ale is not your thing, we have a great selection of gins and an ever growing wine list. Enjoy your drinks with light bites from our menu, by the fire, in the garden or our new garden room.

Hurray, we are finally up and running! We are back to usual opening hours.
Its your last chance this week for pizza for three weeks as we have the beer festival, Wolsingham and Stanhhope Shows upcoming.
Get your ordees in early, so you don't miss out.

For our beer festival over the Bank Holiday Weekend we will have lots of new to us and exciting beers to try from
Durham Brewery, Three Brothers Brewery, F&L Brewery and George Samuel. Different styles and tastes. We want to know what you like and if we should buy them again!

So we have progress, but no power yet. Unfortunately, we have been delayed and the guys are coming back on Monday to hopefulky get us up and runnung. The scaffolding is coming down on Friday. So the garden is open again from noon today, but depending on arrival/departure times please bear with us on Friday. And on Monday we will be open from 4pm.
