Are you a passionate Head Chef who loves crafting classic, hearty English pub classics? We are looking for a talented kitchen leader to take charge of our food offering at The Green Man in Hurst! 🍺✨

If you thrive in a high-paced, high-energy environment and want to lead a fun, dedicated team delivering dynamic country pub dining, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven Experience: Head Chef (or strong Senior Sous) background in a busy pub kitchen.
Traditional Focus: A passion for proper British pub favorites, daily specials, and high-quality local ingredients.

Leadership & Pace: Ability to manage a fast-paced pass, inspire a team, and maintain high kitchen standards with a positive attitude.

Kitchen Ownership: Stock control, menu development, hygiene compliance, and cost management.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary package based on experience.
A supportive, energetic, and fun working environment.

A big hello from the new team at The Green Man! 🌳🍻

First off, a huge thank you for all the incredible support, comments, and excitement on our recent renovation updates. Seeing how much this special pub means to everyone here in Hurst makes us even more thrilled to be bringing it back to life!

We’re Simon and Des, and we are so excited to officially introduce ourselves as the new custodians of The Green Man.

Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming village pub where locals and visitors alike can gather for great drinks, delicious food, and good company. We’re pouring a lot of love (and hard work!) into the refurbishment to make sure it’s a space the village can be truly proud of.

We can’t wait to welcome you all through the doors very soon. Keep an eye on our page for more sneak peeks and opening details—we look forward to raising a glass with you all! 🥂✨
