What’s on in September at Chalk:

🍷 10th September: One Last Taste of Summer W**e Dinner - as summer draws to a close, join us for One Last Taste of Summer, an evening celebrating some of the season’s finest flavours through five courses of food and w**e.

🧁 12th September: Gin Tasting and Afternoon Tea - join us for a celebration of two quintessentially British favourites, gin and afternoon tea. Try a tasting flight of Malfy Gins from their Around the World range, exploring flavour profiles, botanicals, and perfect serves.

🎨 22nd September: Sip and Paint Evening - join us for a guided painting session in collaboration with Michelle Douglas. Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking for something a little different, this is all about relaxing, being creative, and enjoying great drinks in good company.

🥘 24th September: Guinea Pig Autumn Taster Dinner - you're invited for an exciting dining experience where you can tuck into some of our new ideas for the upcoming autumn menu changes. We serve a mixture of dishes at each table, allowing every diner to sample a variety of our creations.

🍽️ Throughout September: The Set Lunch Menu - enjoy two courses for £12 or three courses for £15 on our monthly set lunch menu, available Mon - Fri from 12pm - 3pm.

Community coming together for a great cause, this is what it’s all about.🌞

Thank you to everyone who attended our charity w**e tasting and auction on Sunday. We gathered together on the terrace for an afternoon of w**e tasting, sharing boards, and an auction in the sunshine, to raise funds for Wokingham in Need.

In total, we raised an incredible £3,179.42. This money will go towards helping the people who need it most in our local community.

We hope you all had a wonderful time. If you missed out on this event, you can check out our future w**e tastings and Chalk dinner party evenings on our website.

Our roasted shellfish platter is the perfect summer sharer for grazing on in the garden. 🦞

Jersey oysters, grilled wild black tiger prawns, seared scallops, lobster thermidor, and skin-on-fries with aioli. Best enjoyed with a crisp glass of white.
