October 1st… Means only one thing = Halloween Party countdown! 👻

This year we have Silence The Sirens playing! 🎶

Once again fancy dress is fully encouraged, the band and staff will be dressed up so please don’t make us feel silly (while of course looking amazing all at the same time)! Bottle of fizz will be given to the best costume on the night!

Papa Dunks Pizza Van will be in the car park from 7pm to line your ghoulish stomachs! 🍕

You can also expect plenty of Halloween decorations to appear in the bars before the party along with Halloween themed drinks which will be coming soon! 🎃

Wivenhoe — lock up your daughters, your mums… and possibly your dads. Local hero Matthew Selley is back. 🎤

This Sunday 4th October from 4pm, Matt will be back with us and armed with enough crowd-pleasers to make Monday morning feel like somebody else’s problem. 🎶

He’s local, he’s talented and according to our poster he’s some sort of musical superhero. 🦸

We’re not entirely convinced about the “superhero” bit, but we have seen him handle his instrument rather well. 😏

Join us this Sunday from 4:00pm as Sol Oasis returns and brings you an afternoon packed with Oasis classics and plenty of other belters. 🎶

Its not just the tunes either...

He brings Noel and Liam masks for all the Oasis tasks with inflatable guitars in hand, you'll think you've joined the band! So roll with it and bring your mates as nobody lives forever! 🎸

Tonight - Barney & The Rubbles return and we can’t wait! A four piece band covering all the classics from 8:00pm! 🎸

Saturday - Wivenhoe Music Trail Day - Starting with DJ Chemeka from 3:30pm 🪩! Then four more acts from 7:00pm! 🎶

On Saturday we also have Pizza Amante pizza van in the car park to keep you all fed between 3.30pm and 7.30pm!🍕

Sunday - The boys are back, 3s A Crowd from 4:00pm to ease you out the of weekend with a sing a long! 🎶

Wivenhoe Music Trail – Saturday 12th September 🎶

We’re looking forward to being part of this year’s Wivenhoe Music Trail at The Horse & Groom. 🍺

We’ll be kicking things off outside from 3:30–7pm with DJ Chemeka, bringing funk, soul, garage, house, grooves and more. 🪩

We also have the delicious Pizza Amante here in the car park from 3:30pm to 7:30pm! 🍕

Then from 7pm we move inside for live music from Didge & Sticks, If Not Now, Dirty Funk Face and Muntjac through until 10pm. 🎶

There’s loads happening around Wivenhoe throughout the day, so come along, follow the trail and pop in for a drink and some music along the way!
