We’re delighted to announce that Let’s Get Quizzical is bringing their Charity Quiz Night to The Black Buoy on Wednesday 19th August at 7:30pm, following their fantastic success at our sister pubs!

Join us for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and fundraising, all in aid of the incredible team at Farleigh Hospice. ✨

Gather your smartest friends (or just your funniest ones!), put your trivia knowledge to the test, and help raise money for a truly wonderful local cause.

We wanted to take a moment to address the recent feedback we’ve received about our live music events.

First of all, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts. We’ve listened carefully and have reviewed our upcoming live music calendar to make sure we’re creating an atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.

Going forward, you’ll still be able to enjoy regular live music at The Black Buoy, but with a refreshed line-up featuring more relaxed, easy-listening performances that complement the setting while being considerate of our neighbours. 🍹☀️🎶

At The Black Buoy, we’re proud to be part of this community, and maintaining positive relationships with our neighbours is incredibly important to us. We want our pub to be a place where everyone feels welcome, and we’re committed to finding the right balance between great entertainment and being a good neighbour.

We’re excited to welcome Max Wildwood to The Black Buoy on Sunday 19th July from 4:30pm!

Known for his incredible guitar playing, unique arrangements of classic songs, and infectious stage presence, Max has built a reputation as one of the most entertaining solo performers around. With just an acoustic guitar, he creates a sound that feels far bigger than one musician, putting his own spin on well-loved favourites.
