🚗 Cars sit idle 95% of the time—yet we cling to ownership like it’s a status symbol. What if we flipped the script and treated mobility as a commons?

In this Non-Boring Mobility student spotlight, Nova Bernards dismantles car dependence with a radical idea:

👉 Close one street for two weeks. Hand neighbours one shared electric car. Let them co-create schedules, carpools, and rules. The result? Trust, creativity, and a glimpse of a future where convenience doesn’t mean isolation.

Fuel the movement and grab your copy of Non-Boring Mobility Innovations 2025 today!

📚 15 bold student essays (including Nova’s) that challenge planners, designers, and leaders to build human-centered cities.

Curated by: Marco te Brömmelstroet, Luca Bertolini & Meredith Glaser ( Amsterdam Cycle Chic)

Edited by: Maria Paula Moreno Vivas and Raymond Berger
