Hello lovely people, we are planning to close the Olive Branch for a break and to carry out any essential maintenance from the 14th of May and will reopen on the 16th of June. Time to stock up on your favourites or get your last cup of Monmouth coffee, a falafel wrap or whatever tickles your fancy in those last few days before we close.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

2024 had its ups and downs but the year ended on several positive notes one of which was another Essex Life Award for the olive branch. Running a business is exhausting and surviving on a long term can be extremely challenging but Abdul doesn’t give up, he gets up and keeps going no matter what life throws at him. We haven’t asked anyone to nominate us. We didn’t encourage anyone to vote, so you lovely folks whoever you are who nominated and voted a million thank you for your support and loyalty 💗💗

Delighted to announce the olive branch is finally back! Abdul’s recovery was slightly slower than we’d hoped but he’s completed his full upgrade and now he shall be known as Abdul 2.0

We’re closed! Abdul had his operation this morning, finally!! He’s going to need time to recover and so we’re going to be closed until further notice. He’s expected to make a full recovery within two weeks if no complications but we shall be updating our page with info as soon as we can. Thank you

We’ve good news and bad news. Which one would like to hear first. Abdul’s operation was rescheduled from Monday to today, it then got cancelled today. He’s upset and angry and frankly lost hope for the NHS. The good news is the olive branch will be open as usual from tomorrow Friday 7th June. He’s just ordered fresh coffee from Monmouth and will be prepping all the yummy food later today ready for you all tomorrow 🙂
We’re back to usual opening hours from Wednesday to Sunday.
