Part Time Kitchen Assistant
Location: Café Marada 39, Corn Street, Witney Part-Time (Hours to be discussed / flexible)
Café Marada 39 is a busy, family-run independent café in the heart of Witney. We take immense pride in serving freshly prepared breakfasts, brunches, and lunches alongside great coffee to our wonderful local community.
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our small, friendly team!The Role:As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be a vital part of keeping our kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods. Your daily tasks will include:Assisting with basic food prep (chopping ingredients, preparing fillings, and assembling breakfast/brunch orders).Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, washing up, and ensuring all kitchen equipment and crockery are clean and safely stored.Ensuring the kitchen area remains hygienic and conforms to food safety guidelines.
Supporting our chef and front-of-house team to deliver food efficiently with a smile.What We Are Looking For:A positive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.The ability to work efficiently and keep calm under pressure during busy weekend or lunchtime rushes.
Good communication skills and a strong team ethic.Previous experience in a café or kitchen environment is a bonus, but a reliable work ethic and willingness to learn are what matter most!Flexibility to work shifts across our opening hours (we are open Tuesday–Sunday).What We Offer:A supportive, welcoming, and friendly family working environment.
