A quick thank you to everyone who has supported our food since we launched our new menu.

When we took over The George, we wanted to create the kind of pub we’d love to visit ourselves – somewhere you can enjoy a great meal, a cold drink, and feel genuinely welcome.

From our burgers and pizzas to our loaded fries, wings and desserts, there’s something for everyone!

As a family-run pub, it means a lot seeing so many of you coming back week after week and recommending us to friends and family.

Reminder - this weekend we start our new policy. No new entry after 11pm and front door access will be closed from 11pm

A Quick Note From Us at The George

As many of you know, Friday and Saturday nights at The George have become incredibly busy, and we’d like to start by saying thank you for all of your support.

To help us maintain the friendly, safe and enjoyable atmosphere that our customers have come to expect, we’ll be introducing a No New Entry Policy after 11:00pm on selected evenings, including Fridays, Saturdays, Bank Holiday weekends and other busy event nights.

This means that anyone wishing to join us will need to arrive before 11:00pm. Customers already inside the venue before 11:00pm are, of course, welcome to stay and enjoy the entertainment right through until closing time.

The decision hasn’t been taken lightly, but as a family-run pub, creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone is always our priority. Limiting late arrivals helps our team manage busy periods more effectively and ensures a better experience for all of our customers.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you for great food, drinks, live sport and entertainment.
