The proposed move of Wishaw Post Office has come as a complete surprise. The Post Office has failed to inform us directly and has instead issued a public proposal without proper consultation. This is deeply unfair to the family who have run the Post Office for the benefit of the town and the wider community, providing a trusted and accessible service for everyone.

We urge both local residents and Post Office customers from further afield to support keeping the Post Office in HOMESTYLE, where it has successfully operated for the past 10 years. The current location offers many important benefits to the community, as already stated, and moving it risks losing local jobs and damaging access to essential services.
