Little visit this evening to Woodland Kitchen and Bar at Woodlakes, Stow Bridge. Well all I can say is we will definitely be going back. Food was beautiful, lovely environment and excellent service.

We’ve not been able to get out for a while due to family illness. Covid, Flu, general unwelliness. But hopefully back after new year. Fighting fit!!

Lunch at the Terrington branch Cafe. Lovely little Cafe. Big breakfast/egg and chips and two coffees for just over £20. Butchers sausages and lovely bacon. Highly recommended for a local lunch date.

Bloody forgot to take the photo before we ate, useless!!! So here’s the empty cup!!! Poco lounge kings lynn, EXCELLENT for gluten free, best we’ve found yet. Also if you have a pooch, they have blankets, treats, toys and water to welcome them - how amazing is that. It was so lovely. Food was lovely. We had the brunch, bacon, sausage, beans, hash brown, bread (gluten free and mr husband had wheat), mushrooms, also had a side of chilli beef brisket tapas - conclusion on that was pretty good, would def have again. Two lattes and it totalled £34 for 2. Not bad. Would come again. Nice environment too. Not too loud to chat as well. Well done , The Lounges. We like you.

Little lunch with the Boss at The Mill Kitchen at Norfolk Lavender. I had the fish and chips and the boss had the ham, egg and chips. plus two coffees, £36. Not bad at all.
Fish was huge! and very crispy batter.
Loads of Ham on the H,E,C.
Should have been called Ham, egg, chips and more Ham!!! Lovely place!

We visited Just Jades tearoom and cakes a few days ago. We had the two young adults with us and the MIL, lunch was lovely, all had a panini of various description. Alex had a jacket potato as it’s wheat free, although Jade does offer wheat and dairy free options.
Stanley and I shared a bowl of chili cheese fries, OMG these were amazing!!!!! I mean AMAZING!!!!
Lunch and drinks all round for 5 came to just over £50. Highly recommend!

Visited Thea coffee house and Deli today High street Long Sutton. Lovely cafe recently opened. Lovely decor, shame the table was wobbly. Food was delicious, no Gluten Free choice advertised but an “allergen please Ask” sign.
I had the Chicken gyros, and my wife had the Caesar Salad (she’s wheat free) and a latte each. Food was well presented and came out quite quickly. All for just over £21! Excellent value for money. Will defiantly be coming back to try more of the menu.
