Hello everyone, we've been closed a little while now but wanted to pop by and thank you for the support you gave us over the years.
We're really sorry we couldn't continue running the tea room that Jim worked so very hard to make a success.
It survived the pandemic, without government grants, like so many other businesses the grant went to the landlords.
You supported us, Jim's family, after his sad death and we would have loved to have carried on. Unfortunately, loss of use of land that was rented alongside the tea room premises made it impossible for us to continue.
We're so grateful for the tea room years, meeting the KINDEST and most interesting customers and suppliers, it always felt like family. We're sorry it's over but as Dr. Seuss famously wrote
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened!”
and we're definitely smiling because it happened!
