Fishermans Return Traditional Country Pub by the Sea Popular with visitors and locals alike, the Fishermans is at the heart of Winterton-on-Sea.

It started out as a beer house and was once known as Juby's, before becoming the Fishermans Arms and finally the Fishermans Return. The pub has a history of long serving publicans, with just 4 changes of ownership in the last 100 years; the most recent being when after 34 years, Kate and John Findlay handed over the keys to Darrin in 2009.

This National Cask Ale Week we’re celebrating a proud British brewing tradition that brings people together and keeps our pubs full of character.

Flying the flag for cask since 1981, every Woodforde’s pint carries our Norfolk heritage and the skill, passion and hard work of our brewing team. From mash tun to handpull, every stage matters.

Here’s to our brewers, the publicans caring for every cask, and everyone who loves a proper pint.

I love and sit outside and snack especially when weather not too hot (I tend to find the shade), so I can recommend cheesy chips with cauliflower bites at Fishermans Return

Loads of dog friendly space indoors too of course! With a huge menu for everyone! Even for our best friends 🐾🐾🐾

Mmhhhh cheesy chips! 😋 (beer was for MR HG and we shared snacks i promise ☺️)
