🚨 DAD’S SUMMER HOLIDAY CHECKLIST 🚨

(If your wife’s been home with the kids all day…)

1. Stop at the shop on the way home for wine… unless you’re coming to The Bay Horse, where we’ve already got it covered. 🍷
2. Spend 10 minutes sitting in the car at the end of the driveway. What you’re about to walk into may not be pretty. 😅
3. Resist the urge to say, “How’s your day been?” Trust us… you don’t want the full report.
4. Under absolutely no circumstances should you sit down when you get in. Not even for a minute.
5. Keep emergency snacks handy… just in case you ignored point number one.
6. Remember… your first words through the door should never be:
“Blimey… it’s a bit messy in here.” 🙈

✅ 8. THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE…

⚽🏆 WORLD CUP FINAL – THIS SUNDAY! 🏆⚽

Normally we’d be closing at 8pm… but not this weekend! 🍻

We’ll be staying open to show the World Cup Final as Spain 🇪🇸 take on Argentina 🇦🇷.

After Argentina broke English hearts in the semi-finals, we’ll all be honorary Spaniards for one night… 🇪🇸😉 Come on Spain – get our revenge!

Join us for a cracking evening of football, cold drinks, and hopefully the perfect ending to the tournament.

Just a quick notice for our customers…

There will be no food service on Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th as Sam and Simon are away celebrating at a wedding. 💍🥂

We’ve already managed to let a lot of our regulars know in person, but just wanted to give everyone else a heads-up too so nobody makes a wasted journey.

The bar will still be open from 4pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday for drinks only.

Thanks for your understanding, and we’ll be back serving food as normal from next week!
