🍺 Real Ale Update

Unfortunately, we still won't have our real ales available for the time being.

After having an engineer out to inspect our cellar cooling system, we've been told that the unit now needs replacing. We're working to get this sorted as quickly as possible, but unfortunately it's not a same-day fix.

We're really sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we get everything back up and running.

We'll keep you updated and let you know as soon as our real ales are flowing again. Thank you for bearing with us! 🍻❤️

Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who came down tonight to watch England's first World Cup game with us. The atmosphere was incredible, and we're so grateful to everyone who supported the pub, respected our venue and looked after our staff. ❤️

It's fair to say we underestimated just how busy it was, but it's all a learning curve and we'll be making some changes ready for the next England game to make your experience even better.

Here's what's changing:
🍺 An outdoor bar serving lager, cider and bottled drinks to speed up service.

🥤 Plastic cups will be used from one hour before kick-off to help prevent glasses being taken out onto the road.

🚫 We will have a zero-tolerance policy towards anyone causing trouble or disrupting others. Anyone behaving like that will be asked to leave and may be barred.

❤️ We also have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse or rudeness towards our staff. They work incredibly hard to give everyone the best experience possible, and they deserve to be treated with respect.

We put the big screen up for the community to enjoy, and while we have to work within licensing rules and safety requirements, we're committed to making every England match bigger and better than the last.

Please continue to respect our venue, our team and your fellow supporters, and we'll continue doing everything we can to give you the best matchday experience in Wi******er.

Before we start the tidy up job!

Just a massive thank you to you all that made last night so amazing!

A community brought together!

Before Tuesday, we will be making some changes to make it more enjoyable to all!

Being honest we thought it may be a busy one, but we didn't quite expect that.

We will be making a few tweaks ahead of Tuesday to make it even better for you all including getting the additional Bar up and running!
