9 YEARS OF OVERDRAFT WI******ER! 🍻🌮

In October 2017, we opened the doors to Overdraft Wi******er, following the success of our first little bar in Shirley, Southampton.

We knew that opening in a busy city centre meant we needed to bring something more to the table. The burger scene was already pretty crowded, so we headed to London in search of inspiration.

A few b**rs and tequilas later, we stumbled upon something that just made sense: tacos and craft b**r.

It was a pairing that offered endless possibilities and fitted perfectly with the stripped-back, rustic surroundings and relaxed atmosphere we’d always wanted Overdraft to represent.

Nine years on, we’ve experienced our fair share of highs, lows, challenges and successes. Hospitality isn’t an easy industry and there have certainly been battles along the way. But through it all, we’ve kept pushing forward, learning, adapting and doing our best to improve.

And we’re incredibly proud to say that this past year has been our best yet in Wi******er.

We’ve built something that feels genuinely special. A place where people appreciate the craft behind the b**r, the quality of the tacos, a banging margarita and, perhaps most importantly, the atmosphere that makes Overdraft what it is.

That atmosphere isn’t something you can easily recreate. It’s something we’ve worked hard to build, but it’s also something that you, our customers, have helped create.

So today, we’re raising a glass to every single person who’s supported us over the last nine years. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or only discovered us recently, you’ve given us a reason to keep going, even when things have been tough.

We’re incredibly grateful but we’re not standing still. There’s plenty we want to improve over the coming year, because in this industry, continuous improvement is non-negotiable.

Here’s to nine years of tacos, b**rs, margaritas, good music, great people and everything in between.

LAMB OVER FIRE 🔥

We’re kicking off the Carlton Place Night Market with something a bit special.

Pulled lamb cooked over a fire pit, served on duck fat tortillas with your choice of mint chimichurri or papaya habanero salsa.

We’ll be pouring mezcalitas, mango & chilli margaritas and palomas to go with it.

The whole street’s coming alive with street food, independent traders, music, lights and covered seating.

Excited is an understatement.
