Everything is made fresh here in our kitchen, building layers of flavour into all our dishes is what our brilliant chefs do everyday. Today I walked into the wonderful sight and smell of our confit garlic in the making! Delicious. We use this in a number of dishes but today it is for our Pan con Sardina dish. So this time last week we went to the Wi******er Business awards and were absolutely chuffed to bits to win the award for City Centre Champion. I am so proud of the brilliant team I work with and their enthusiasm to embrace this busy little space we have created. Our amazing chefs who work incredibly hard to deliver a menu we are so proud of and the enthusiasm & energy they have to embrace everything we want to do. We are buzzing! The team scrubbed up beautifully for last nights Wi******er Business Awards, it was a great night topped off by us winning the award for City Centre Champion - honestly we are 2 years old and we cannot thank all our customers, supporting neighbours and the city of Wi******er for making our time here so brilliant. We are so proud to receive this award. Working in hospitality is a tough space and often we feel the odds are stacked against us with all the ever increasing costs and pressures but we find a way through and keep pushing to be the best we can. we love our space on Southgate street and how we have become such a bustling space. A massive thank you to our brilliant, young, energetic and completely dedicated team. They are all stars 🌟 Tapas is a fabulous way of bring community together, to pause, to share and delight in the company around you. Please keep coming and sharing our place. 💕

Last year our Long Lazy Lunch highlight was when Jose Pizarro- The Godfather of Spanish Cooking in the UK, hopped into the kitchen with our Chefs to serve up a delightful menu. This year we cannot wait to deliver The Grand Finale with Wi******er and many of the brilliant hospitality venues on The Square including .collaboration to deliver an event we hope the wonderful community of Wi******er will join us to celebrate.
