New location on Tuesday tomorrow so best get to The Dates pronto like

Yep on Tuesday we are heading to pastures new in St Denys at The Junction Inn! Why? Well their kitchen is closed at the mo so we are heading to be the food simple as really. It’s a Saints home game so whether you’re heading there or not swing by the pub and see what’s what yeah? Food 5-8 bar open later. We don’t get down into Southampton too much so don’t really know too many folks (well apart from one 😉) so do tell a friend if you’re local!

On Wednesday it’s The Greyhound on the Test as usual please come down please we’re gonna try get to the end of September before the tent comes down all welcome

On Friday we are back with the Farmy Army Dummer Down Farm Dummer Down Brewery. 5-8pm yes yes it’s the friendly yard with the lovely brews and ace folk you can sit inside or out but the weather should be perfectly fine

Then on Saturday we’re back at The Junction Woodies at the Junction Inn just like Tuesday except it’s another home Saints game so we’re gonna do all day and see how that goes! 12-8 or something like that I’d say

Yes I know it’s the changing of the seasons and there’s a general sense of back to school malaise out there but don’t let that stop you all are welcome always inside or out eat in or takeaway

Ey up and now then it’s this back to school week which is hitting me hard so here’s what’s what

On Wednesday it’s The Greyhound on the Test if the kids have started already then bring them for a treat and if they haven’t yet then bring them for a pre-school treat. Have a rose and toast a hot summer why not. You know the drill 5-8pm all welcome

Then on Friday it’s a one off in BOTLEY. Any Botley fam out there? We’re going to be down the mills and it’s for Deveroast birthday party. The Artful Roaster himself expect spinning tunes, pouring drinks and flipping patties

I think it might be ticketed and not sure if there are any left but do check out Deveroast either specifically because of this or just generally because of why not

Have to say I feel a little underprepared this week but I blame the bank holiday and also we’re sending the lad off to secondary school so I am worried about that poor little blighters gonna be all at the bottom of the pile again hey ho. Lambs to slaughter should be fine oh well

So anyway yeah that’s this week be lovely to see some of ya there!

Hello there’s been a change to the week so better update th’dates better’n’t I

On Thursday which is today we are going to be at our friends The white hart. This is a change from the original billing of course some of you may have noticed

And yes on Saturday we are at lovely Breach Farm Brewing so if you haven’t got any bank holiday plans you should definitely get up there it’s the friendly tap room up the big track on Haydown Farm East Cholderton and all are welcome

So that’s this week do tell a local friend and hope to see ya there!

Hello it’s a a cheeky two this week because last week of summer hols so here we go with where we are

On weds you better think about getting down to The Greyhound on the Test because it’s getting to the time of year where the Tent comes down and we toast a lovely summer farewell. Don’t have an exact date yet but it’s normally first couple of weeks of sept so not long to go now gotta catch ‘em all while y’can

Then on Saturday we are back Breach Farm Brewing for a cheeky weekend slot it’s your bank holiday so if you’d about then do head to your friendly neighbourhood farm based brewery and taproom up on Haydown Farm in East Cholderton that’s nice

So yep that’s another week as it were

Going early on this week’s dates because there’s a couple of new spots gotta talk about

Weds it’s The Greyhound on the Test you know the drill! 4-8pm bar’s open later. We’re getting to the back end of summer now at The Tent by The Test so make it count before it is un-erected

Thursday we’re BACK at lovely Breach Farm Brewing it’s the East Cholderton friendly taproom with great b**r and nice vibes up the farm track to Haydown Farm. I think we open from 4 there too maybe 5

NEW LOCATION ALERT FOR FRIDAY yes we are heading up the road to the incredible Wi******er Auto Barn. Have you been? Have you seen? YOU SHOULD!

It’s a brilliant facility that we’ve long since admired so am delighted to be doing a burger thang there. Even if you’re not arsed about cars you can come and admire the building cos it’s a beauty and you’ll love the cars anyway because they’re beauties. Free burgers to anyone that buys the Miura. 5-8pm with a full bar. More to follow later

Then continuing the automotive theme we are back Regal Autosport on Saturday morning for their summer cars n coffee. 10-2pm with limited supply of brekkie baps and burgess for lunch that’s always a great hangout!

Another busy week I guess so much for me not working too hard in August lol

Hello and what’s this? It’s this week’s dates hooray!

On Wednesday it’s totally eclipsical and it’s going to be The Greyhound on the Test. There’s a great sunset and you face west over the Test so you’ll have a cracking view. Hopefully it will be weird and the birds stop singing. Begins from 1830 peaking at 1915 done by 8. Celebrate a space oddity with a rosé and an ice cube

Then on Thursday we’re back The white hart the friendly pub in Over Wallop. All welcome as always and we’re there 5-8pm with the bar open later of course thirsty Thursday’s that’s nice

On Friday it’s the second Friday of the month so that means Dummer Down Brewery Dummer Down Brewery doesn’t it! Dunno why it feels so long since we were there last but it does so am looking forward to being back there. Tell a North Waltham / Candover Valley / Amazingstoke friend and see ya there it’s fun for all the family give yourself a night off the summer holiday duties. 4-8pm bar’s open later of course

On Saturday we’re again at Dummer for a Saturday for a change why the hell not make it a weekender. If you can’t make the Friday come on Saturday or if you can make the Friday also come on Saturday! Friendliest vibiest farm for miles bring the gang and see ya there

Hello hello it’s a slightly belated reminding of this week’s dates so it is!

First up on Thursday that’s tomorrow already and it the salubrious The Grange isn’t it! It’s the big vineyard up the big track and an ideal place to come if you’re not yet on holiday but want to feel like you are even for an evening. Or if you’ve just come back from holiday but also still want to feel you like still are! 5-8pm bar’s open later

Then on Friday we’re BACK The white hart where we haven’t been for a few weeks actually so looking forward to that one. It’s the friendly pub in the middle of over wallop and all are welcome! 5-8pm bar’s open later

Hello everyone back from hols and trying to remember how to do my job

Luckily at this stage it just involves writing up THE DATES and telling them here

So on Wednesday we’re back at the Tent by The Test it’s The Greyhound on the Test of course. Not s**t weather AGAIN

Then on Thursday we’re eastbound to the sumptuous The Grange (not The Grange Hampshire whoops) it’s the big vineyard up the big track for really lovely burgers, very lovely fizz and a general sense of being on holiday despite being just down the road from you

Then on Friday we’re back at excellent The white hart you know the drill you have to tell a Wallopping friend it’s the friendly pub in the middle of the village and we haven’t been there for a bit so that will be nice

All in all a rather jolly week by the looks of it. Hopefully you’re not all on holiday and fancy coming down! It’s August already! Crikey!

Also bring the kids because you don’t have to cook or wash up which is prolly already getting annoying!

A cheeky two this week but they come along sooner than usual because we’re off for a couple weeks after that

on Tuesday we’re back at fabulous !

Yes it’s the big pub with the big view on the South Downs and the games room is possible (nearly) finished including old school pub skittles and much more. It might not be finished yet but you wanna know about it I’ll show ya tomorrow. Burgers are on it’s very car friendly too so bring some pub wheels and let’s seee ya pride n joy

Then on Wednesday it’s which doesn’t have skittles but does have the mighty river tests and one of the most gorgeous pub gardens going but you know this already. Also 5-8pm maybe a smidge earlier

Then we’re on holiday for a bit so best get them in now and see you in August
