The kitchen team were on fire yesterday catering for our Summer Party! This flat iron steak with fries and a peppercorn sauce was a big hit…and I’m not surprised it was SUPERB!

A HUGE congratulations and thank you to Callum who recently marked his two year milestone as General Manager with us.

You’d be hard pushed to find someone as dedicated and passionate about the Northbrook Arms and the hospitality industry in general.

Since joining us in 2024, Callum has been a critical part of trying to grow and evolve the pub into what it is today. We love having him with us and hope that there’s many more years to come!

A HUGE thank you to Zak Lacey and Spencer Jones for another cracking comedy night in July! A magnificent evening of pure joy!

Also thank you to the superb Joe Bor for stepping in as our host for the evening in Paul McCaffrey s absence.

Paul’s seriously over compensating for missing July by treating us to a very special evening on the 13th August. He’ll be taking to the stage to treat us to his recent tour show “What a time to be alive”. Joining Paul will be a guest support act.

It’s SIX YEARS TO THE DAY that we opened the doors of the Northbrook Arms for the first time to start writing our chapters in its centuries worth of trading history book.

There’s been highs, lows, lefts and rights and we’ve enjoyed every second of it (maybe not every second but the large majority of them 😂)

We’ll keep opening the doors as long as all of you love walking through them. Thank you to all our customers, suppliers, the community of East Stratton and of course our team (past and present) that have all been there with their hand on the pen with us!

The Northbrook Arms is a building. It’s people that turns it into a pub and business! Thank you all 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼

We’re just as hungry and passionate as ever to keep investing and evolving this beautiful and much loved village pub…watch this space for some new things coming to our offering before we turn seven!

One thing that will never change is our commitment to evolving, improving, and creating a pub that you want to visit.

We’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved over the past six years, and we’re just as motivated today as we were when we first picked up the keys back in 2019.

If it’s been a while since your last visit, we’d love for you to pop in and see what’s changed. And if you’ve been in recently, thank you, as always, for your continued support and custom—it means the world to us.
