Round up your team, and join us for a relaxed evening of questions and the chance to win some foodie prizes. Whether you’re a serious food lover or just enjoy a good quiz night, there’ll be something for everyone.

Even better, it’s all in support of Wi******er Basics Bank, with proceeds from the evening helping support local people in our community.

Join us as part of Taste of Wi******er for a relaxed evening celebrating the fantastic food and drink producers right on our doorstep, with a guided wine and beer tasting showcasing some of the brilliant suppliers from the South Downs National Park and surrounding area.

Hosted by Cat Brandwood from The Naked Grape (Alresford), who many of you will know from previous tastings, expect plenty of stories, knowledge and discoveries along the way.

Cat has a knack for making wine approachable, interesting and fun, bringing the people and passion behind each bottle and brew to life.

As always, we’ll be gathering around our long, sociable tables for an easy-going evening of tasting, good conversation and celebrating the local producers and hospitality businesses we’re proud to support.

It’s tough for young people right now, government can do a lot more to support small businesses, especially hospitality where a lot of young folk earn their stripes in their first job. Each make event is a show and tell for the creative tech curious, featuring short Flash talks from Artist, technologies, design designers, developers, creative businesses and student sharing what their building, testing, or exploring right now.

“Don’t ask yourself ‘what if’ but ‘even if..’. Such an inspiring talk from at the Social last night. Sharing her journey from a Foreign Office career to riding and writing about LEJOG and now her joy of riding across as many European countries as she can (she’s already completed a few!). Her love of cycling, nature and the people she has met on her travels was so good to hear. Her book is stocked in the cafe, check it out! Thank you Claire 🙏🏼.

All our soups are delish and all home made by our chefs (who all compete with each other to make the most delish soup). Today is spring fennel and feta from Orsi. Yums.
