We did the it was a lovely walk down the seafront with dogs in tow from The Stade to the hospice and back. It’s a lovely way to give some support to our local hospice and have a great evening, If you get the chance, and you are able why not sign up next year. We all, sadly, know someone who has needed the hospices care over the years. 💔

After our third happy, crazily busy summer here at Winchelsea I have decided to explore the possibility of selling my business. We are very busy, open 7 days a week all year around, good turnover and profits. We have full alcohol licence. Our landlord will grant the lucky purchaser a new lease.

We are very busy and I have created a very successful monster which is brilliant in these difficult times. However, I feel that the business needs to open longer, offer suppers etc and I feel someone younger needs to take over with the energy to push the business onwards as I’m feeling tired I would like to retire and take a quieter pathway and not die behind my mixer!!!

About you
You’ll have to have the means to purchase and continue the business (or develop it), you’ll need to satisfy our wonderful landlord that you are suitable.

Happy to offer a long handover period and recipes with the right candidate.

This summer, our third summer, has been absolutely amazing we have been so busy. This is obviously an amazing achievement in these difficult times for the hospitality industry.

I know this this year will be busier again but I’m also very aware of time creeping up on me and that if I want to have one last adventure perhaps it’s time to hand over the business to someone who is younger and will relish the chance of growing with our lovely business.

Therefore, I’m exploring the possibility of selling my lovely business.

We have a great turnover and profits with massive scope to expand and push the business further. I would be happy to offer an extended handover period should someone wish to continue with the business in the same format.

Our landlord (who is terrific) will offer a new lease to a suitable purchaser.

Thank you so much to everyone who poured through our doors this bank holiday weekend. We have had a truly amazing summer and can’t thank you all enough for your support. Once again you’ve eaten us out of cakes so once again the oven will be on into the evening replenishing the cake stands for this coming week. No idea what they will be as my brain is a little frazzled.
