Coming this October!

We’re creating a calm, welcoming space for children and young people with additional needs and their parents/carers to connect, play and feel part of the StreetLight community.

SEND Connect will be a relaxed Tuesday morning where you can:

💬 Chat with our team and other families
🤝 Build connections with people who understand
💡 Access advice, support and signposting
🧸 Explore our role-play area and additional sensory-friendly toys
🛹 Enjoy access to our skatepark
☕ Take some time to relax together
📅 Tuesdays during term time
⏰ 11.15am–12.30pm
💷 £3 per child | £1.50 siblings

Our first session begins on the 6th October, with booking details coming soon.

💛 A little role play area update! 💛

It’s been so lovely seeing our new role play area come to life over the last few days! 🥰

We’ve had lots of lovely feedback from families, and most importantly, we’ve loved seeing the children exploring, playing, imagining and making the space their own. 🧸☕️🧱🎨

From the little café and construction zone to dressing up, building, books and our quieter spaces, there’s lots for little imaginations to discover!

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited, shared your feedback, supported us and continued to support StreetLight. ❤️ It really does mean so much to us and helps us continue to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable space for local children and families.

Just a reminder that soft play and the role play area are £2 per child. This small charge helps us with the ongoing cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the space and equipment.

A brand-new StreetLight session especially for little ones aged 2–5 years!

Come along for an hour of riding, playing and exploring on our skatepark, followed by a tasty lunch box to enjoy before heading home.

It’s a great way for little ones to burn off some energy, try something new and make new friends along the way. 💛

📅 Thursdays & Fridays (Term Time) - Starts this week!
⏰ 10am–11am

We're excited to be partnering with Care for the Family to bring Who Let The Dads Out? to StreetLight!

Join us one Saturday each month for a relaxed morning where dads, grandads, step-dads and father figures can spend quality time with their children, meet other men and enjoy a chance to chat, connect and build friendships.

🛹 Come along and enjoy time together at StreetLight
💬 Meet and chat with other dads and father figures
👨‍👧‍👦 Spend some quality time with your children
☕ Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming community atmosphere

Entry is FREE!

If you'd like to enjoy breakfast with us, our Bacon or Sausage Bap + Tea or Coffee Deal is £5 per adult.

There's absolutely no obligation to purchase refreshments — you're very welcome to come along and join us whether you choose the breakfast deal or not.

We’ve been busy refreshing StreetLight, but don’t worry — our soft play and baby area are staying! 🎉

So your little ones can still climb, explore, crawl and play while you enjoy a coffee in the café. ☕️

We’ve made a small change to our pricing this term, with sessions £3 per child, and siblings just £1.50.

✨ WE’RE ALMOST THERE! ✨

It’s been a busy week behind the scenes at StreetLight, and we wanted to share a little glimpse of what we’ve been up to! 👀

We’ve been giving the centre a refresh, getting everything ready for the new season — including our brand-new role play area, which is adjacent to the soft play frame 🧑‍🍳👩‍🚒🚓✨

There’s been lots of cleaning, moving, building, organising (and probably a fair amount of tea ☕️!) to get everything ready… and we cannot wait to welcome you back! 💛

📅 We’ll be reopening on Thursday 10th September!

A little note while we get back up and running: we’re still working on our website and booking system, so please bear with us if you encounter any difficulties when trying to book.

If you need any help at all, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to assist. 📞

💛 A little update from StreetLight

We’re really sorry to let you know that we need a little more time before we can reopen our doors.

Due to staffing levels, we’ve made the difficult decision to extend our closure and now plan to reopen on Thursday 10th September.

We know this is later than originally planned, and we’re genuinely sorry for the change — especially to all the families who have been looking forward to coming back.

We want to make sure that when we reopen, we have the right team in place to give our children, young people and families the safe, welcoming and positive experience you expect from StreetLight. 💛

We’re using this extra time wisely and continuing to get everything ready behind the scenes, including our refreshed family area 👀

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. We really appreciate it.

After the summer break, Youth Club returns to StreetLight on Wednesday 9th September!

A place for young people aged 11–16 to hang out, have fun, meet friends and enjoy an evening at StreetLight.
