A new season, a new arch. 🌸

Every few months we give our flower arch a fresh look.

Not because we have to. Not because it’s a trend. Simply because we love creating a shop that people enjoy visiting.

We believe the high street (….or East Street in this case!) should be colourful. Interesting. Full of character.

The flowers change, the produce changes, the cheeses change, the seasons change.

That’s part of the fun.

YARLTON SLEIGHTS

CHEESE OF THE MONTH - JUNE

It’s quite possibly the best cheese you’ve never tasted!

Quite a claim but this BRAND NEW cheese from The Newt in Somerset follows last months buffalo Gouda and if you tried that one then you’ll know what the fuss is all about!

Yarlton Sleights is a Manchego style cheese with a buttery texture and deliciously full flavour. The high fat content of the buffalo milk gives it a really clean taste and long finish that will have coming back for more.

Last month we were invited to The Creamery at Castle Cary station where The Newt make their incredible cheeses and this one was the standout for us!

You’ll struggle to find this cheese anywhere else at the moment but at The East Street Deli you’ll find it in our counter all month!

Pop in and ask for some Yarlton. It’s the perfect cheese to pair with the early summer sunshine!
