Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who donated books over the years. We finished clearing out the cafe last week and books have been donated to:
Four schools - Willingham Primary School, Swavesey VC, Northstowe Secondary School and Sawston VC
Six charities: Emmaus, RSPCA, Oxfam, Arthur Rank, Wood Green and Denny Abbey

So we have things for sale.....some are displayed in the cafe to come, look at and agree a price. These are the general pictures - sorry no teapots or high chairs! I will be at the cafe on Monday and Wednesday from 9am to 3pm and Friday from 9am to 1pm. If you want to buy something and cannot make these times please message me and I can arrange to meet you.

The cafe is now closed but I want to say a big thank you for all your support over the last year. It looks like the cafe in one of the units will reopen at some point in October so I will keep my facebook open so I can share the details nearer the time.

I am now looking to find homes for lots of the books - if you did not manage to get in to do your book shopping do message me to see if we can find a time you can call. I am also hoping to donate books to charities or organisations who want to raise funds through second hand stalls. If you know anyone who is interested please send me a message.

We are now in our last two days of trading and look forward to seeing you. We will stop serving from the kitchen at 2.15...

We are now in our last two days of trading and look forward to seeing you. We will stop serving from the kitchen at 2.15pm on these days but there will be coffee and cakes available. We are trying to keep the menu much the same as normal but do expect some changes and if we are busy a little wait! Today's specials include a Book Warren Burger with Halloumi, Quiche Salad and Croque Monsiuer.

We are into our last week and have loved seeing so many customers. Thanks to those who were in on Saturday who were patient with the slower service due to customer numbers and then no electricity for a short while!

Our menu will adjust slightly as the week goes on and on Friday and Saturday we will stop serving food from the kitchen at 2.15pm.

We are glad so many people have been buying books with all general second hand books at half price and new books at buy one, get second half price (lowest price book).

This is our last Sunday of trading and we are serving our brunch menu from 10.30am to 2.00pm. Between 2.00pm and 3.00pm ...

Do come in and get yourself a bargain on our books. Between now and our closing day on the 28th August we are selling all general secondhand books at 50% their marked price and new books (except local authors) at buy one get the second at half price (lowest priced book half price).
