Happy Friday folks!!! Looks like we might be getting a bit of sunshine this weekend too!

AJs is serving up home-cooked food until 8pm. Juke box and pool night for the rest of us.

Saturday is karaoke night with Tom Tom. Come and sing us a song!

Sunday lunches served from 12 until 5pm. Call 07542 656784 to book! From 6pm we have our lovely Lizzie!

I hate to use the C word on Facebook but its coming and it will be here faster than you realise!!

AJs has got some cracking Christmas fayre lined up for you and we are also doing an afternoon with Santa with lots of games and fun stuff (we'll add a separate event for that one). Click on the image to see the whole menu

AJ does get very busy over the festive period and as this is his last year, get in quick so you don't miss out. A deposit and preorder is required with all bookings.

It's the end of an era, but the start of new exciting things to come too!

Rob and Dawn's contract comes to an end in December and the brewery have asked them to stay on until 12th January to see Christmas through, which they've agreed to. A new Landlord has already been selected but we'll let him introduce himself and share his plans closer to the time. The rest of the Homestead team will remain with you.

The brewery have chosen the Homestead for investment and it will be closing for a short period in February / March and will reopen after a nearly £400K facelift. We will share the plans for this when everything has been finalised.

As part of these changes, sadly AJ will be closing the restaurant and his last trading day will be Christmas Eve so if you want some of those home-cooked chips, you better get in quick!

In the meantime, its business as usual from us. We have a fun packed schedule of events planned so let's make our last few months and Christmas the biggest and the best ever!!! And put a date in your diary for Saturday, 9th January 2027 for our leaving party!

Happy Friday, you gorgeous lot and what a weekend we have lined up for you!

Tonight we have the King of Rock n Roll (and Mozzas) himself, the one and only Yam Yam Elvis. You know you're going to have a good night when he's in the house so come down and blow the roof off!!!

On Saturday, fresh cobs are available behind the bar or AJs is open from 12 until 8pm if you want some delicious home-cooked grub! We have a party in the lounge so he will be serving in the bar from 6pm. Pool and juke box night for the rest of us.

Sunday brings us Sunday lunches served from 12 until 5pm. Call to book your table. From 6pm we have the talented and fun-loving Emma Jane. Bring your dancing shoes!

The weekend starts early at the end of the month at the Homestead, and............it's a big bank holiday one too!!! Luckily we have plenty of space inside for you to keep warm and dry as its looking a bit bleak out there!!!

We start tonight with the Jones Brothers bring us our monthly open mic night. Come along and play an instrument, sing us a song or just enjoy a hefty helping of live music from 8pm. Kids welcome until 10pm but must remain with an adult at all times.

Friday is curry night so get yourselves booked in if you haven't already. Pool and jukebox night for the rest of us.

Saturday night is Karaoke night with our Tom Tom. Sing us a song with those gorgeous voices! From 8pm until late. Kids welcome until 10pm.

Sunday lunches are served from 12 until 5pm. Call 07542 656784 to book your table. Then we have the very beautiful and talented Jessica Amy. Dancing shoes needed - it's a bank holiday on Monday!

We need your help!

We have a lovely lad, Tommy, who collects glasses for us when we're busy. He works really hard and never complains.

He has just passed all his exams is looking for an apprenticeship as an electrician. He has been to the college and the only route is to find someone willing to take him on and then he can do one day a week at the college.

There is government funding available for apprenticeships so it wouldn't cost you much - just your time.

Are you willing to give a hardworking, enthusiastic 16 year old a chance in life? You won't regret it.

Happy Friday party people! Well what's happened to the weather? Who's been singing?

Tonight its pool and jukebox night.

On Saturday, AJs is open from 12 until 8pm, serving in the bar from 6pm in the bar as we have a party. From 8.30pm, we have the fantastic Tim Heights in the bar. Kids welcome until 10pm but must remain with an adult at all times.

Sunday brings us lunches from 12 until 5pm. Call 07542 656784 to book your table. From 6pm we have the very talented Boon. Play your cards right in the interval too!
