With the World Famous Wigtown Book Festival getting underway, we’re looking forward to welcoming both our regular customers and lots of new faces to The Frying Scotman! πŸ’™

Please note β€” we will NOT be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as normal during the festival. We’ll be open every day from 3pm–8pm, from Friday 25th September through to Monday 5th October.

πŸ“ž A quick reminder about orders:
We DO NOT take orders through Facebook Messenger. Please either order in the shop or give us a call on 07743 733784.

During busy periods, the phone will only be answered if we’re able to do so. If we don’t answer, it simply means we’re busy serving customers, so please try again later or pop into the shop. Thank you for understanding.

πŸ’™ Finally, a massive thank you. The support we’ve received over the last six months has been absolutely fantastic. Every visit, order, recommendation and kind word has helped support our little chip shop, and we genuinely appreciate everyone who continues to come through our doors.
