Introducing Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch, Chapter Three 🥃

Every wh**ky has a story. This one is a love story.

Chapter 3 is all about Roddie & Elaine, who met after Waterfall Day and have had Bladnoch woven into their lives ever since. They teamed up with our Master Distiller Nick to track down a wh**ky that could capture their story, and found it in one aged in an ex-Cognac hogshead.

Three words for it? Apricots. Marmalade. Syrup.

Only available online or here at the distillery (which feels right, since Roddie and Elaine visit us at the distillery every year on their anniversary).

Café Melba will be closing early at 1.30pm on Thursday 10th September as we get the distillery ready for a private event that evening.

Loch Maberry, Stories of Bladnoch: Chapter 2 🥃 Available at the distillery for £5 a dram.

200 years ago, Liz' great-great-grandfather founded the distillery and now, she's become part of our history too. Liz joined our Master Distiller, Nick, to pick a cask for the second in our Loch Maberry series of whiskies. An 18 year old, sherry butt matured wh**ky that we describe with three words: Coffee. Chocolate. Almonds.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 29th July, our Visitor Centre and Café Melba will be closed from 1:30pm onwards as Team Bladnoch celebrate the year so far with a well-deserved team BBQ! Hopefully we'll be basking in the sun like our Luna ☀️
