I'm sorry to have to make a post like this but following a post on the Wigton page tonight regarding a cake this week and them being unhappy with it I would just like to clarify as I feel the facts put out there are completely wrong. I made a cake for the lady different to the photo of what was asked for because when ordering it she specified she wanted It different to the photo. They then complained it was raw. As anyone can see from the photos she has shared herself it ISNT raw it is perfectly cooked and moist from the jam and buttercream. I explained this but she was extremely nasty and threatening in her messages demanding a full refund or new cake. I did offer to make a new cake purely as I really didn't need the hassle given I am dealing with alot of personal issues right now too. I still got abuse and even today had a message asking "wheres my f*kin cake". I delivered it she asked me to put it in the kitchen. She then said she expected it fully decorated like the last one. I tried to explain I was replacing the sponge she said they weren't prepared to eat and wasn't going to reorder all the toppers and spend hours decorating a new cake especially when there wasn't anything wrong with the sponge. She then verbally assaulted me and tried to stop me leaving her house screaming in my face and calling me names I can't even repeat publicly telling me she will ruin me and knows where i live. This continued in the street. I am currently waiting for the police to deal with this .
I didn't want to have to justify or defend myself publicly but this is my business and is also what puts food on mine and the kids table and keeps a roof over our heads and that could be ruined by someone unfairly. Thanks for all those who do support my little business it means alot ###
