Good morning everyone and a very big thank you for the patience of us taking last week off for a much needed holiday for us at the Bari. It was very well spent amongst close family and friends before the school holidays came to an end 🙂 😞
But now we are back and in full swing ready to cure those curry craves and cater for those special occasions or weekly treats should you wish to celebrate it at ours along with one of Mrs Bs huge naans!

Hope all are having a wonderful summer break and the kids are enjoying their time off tiring the parents out 😛
We are halfway through the holidays and are ever so grateful for all customers that have come from near and far to dine and takeout at our lil family run restaurant 🙂
Also we are all so very thankful and happy to see our conservatory being used up for larger gatherings/parties, you can literally fill it out like a private function room 👍🏽 so if there’s an occasion please don’t hesitate to contact us

*NEW MENU ALERT*

Happy Sunday All

We are finally happy to share with you our first menu designed just for the little mouths 🙂

We know that it might be difficult to choose a dish that would suit most childrens appetites due to their common likes and DISLIKES 😛 so we hope that this can be a bit more appealing for families that wish to bring their kids that aren’t particularly inclined to eating the spicier/non-familiar foods whilst satisfying their own curry crave 🙂

As parents ourselves we very much understand how stressful it can be going out to eat with kids and making sure they ACTUALLY eat too and it not cost a fortune, so we do hope this menu comforts everyone to know that we will do our best to ensure a lovely dining experience for ALL ages 🙂

*SPOTLIGHT DISH*

Chicken Rogan

Our Rogan dishes have made a very regular appearance these last few weeks! Probably because it’s slightly different to the traditional 2 part cooking and serving method (curry base served with sautéed tomatoes)
A Rogan being a staple tomato base curry, we have added Mrs Bs twist on and added more fresh garlic, tomatoes and an abundance of coriander allowing the flavours to marry together to give a rich flavoursome sauce for any meats or veg to absorb into!
Main thing with this dish is we roast our garlic off first to really give it that punch in flavour and cook the tomatoes and coriander together earlier on in the cooking process so its a wholesome dish and every bite is full of all the fresh flavours!
This is a mild curry dish and we highly reccomend it go with Chicken Tikka, some garlic rice and a side of garlic and cheese naan *droolworthy*

Let us know if you are a fan of our Rogans, and if you prefer things a bit spicy, this is definitely one to ask for but with the heat notched up 🙂

Happy Sunday everyone, hoping for some Sun soon!

For whatever the occasion; birthday/reception/christening/graduation/works do etc and you need a place to hold it that do food (and bakes 😉) we can definitely cater for these needs, our conservatory is perfect for intimate gatherings or small do’s (seats up to 25)

*Spotlight dish alert* - Hopefully this becomes a regular thing having a dish in the spotlight and we tell you a bit more about it.

First on spotlight we have Bari’s twist on the classic Passanda dish. Base ingredients made with natural set yoghurt and ground almonds.

We’ve notched this one up through a more intensive cooking process to give it more of a punch in flavour and cooked with black poppyseeds to produce an extra nutty flavour and texture.

A mild, rich, sweet and creamy dish - a popular alternative to the traditional Korma. Recommended with chicken or lamb and a side of pilau or special fried rice.

Hello Everyone!!! Been a time since posting but rest assured we are very much still in business! Just hard to keep up with the socials as well as our daily go to’s 😅 and finding the spare few minutes to do this!

Summer break is officially around the corner and we have a few things to look forward to at the Bari which we hope you will very much appreciate and welcome 🙂 amongst this economic financial turmoil 😩 so watch this space and we promise to be a bit a more active on here🙏🏾, meanwhile please share and recommend to friends and family and bring them all over whatever the occasion 🙂 We’d love to see old faces and new and thank you to all that have continued to support us in our small business out here in the west 🙂
