Thursday 8th October from 4pm
Friday 9th October from 3pm
Saturday from 12pm
Sunday from 12pm

Normal operating hours will resume from Wednesday 14th October

❤️ THANK YOU & GOOD LUCK, POPPY! ❤️

Today is a very bittersweet day at the Crown & Anchor, as our lovely poppy works her last shift with us today after nearly two years of being part of the Crown & Anchor family.

Poppy has played such a vital role in our business, from the very beginning of its opening through to where we are today. She has been there through the hard work, the busy days, the late nights, the laughs, the challenges and all the amazing moments that have helped shape the Crown & Anchor into the pub it is today. 🍻❤️

But Poppy hasn’t just been an employee — she has become a friend to so many of our customers, colleagues and the whole Crown & Anchor family. And, of course, she’s my cousin, which makes saying goodbye even harder! 🥹❤️

Today, though, isn’t really goodbye… it’s “see you later!” 👋

Poppy is heading off on an incredible adventure, with Africa being her first stop, before continuing her travels and planning the next chapter of her bright future. 🌍✈️

Who knows… maybe one day, when Poppy returns from her travels, we might even see her back behind the bar occasionally! 😉🍻

Poppy, thank you for everything you have done for us. Thank you for your hard work, loyalty, laughs and for being such an important part of our journey. Most importantly, thank you for helping to create and build this dream for me, Scott, Paul and Alex. ❤️
