Mather’s Sandwich Bar - Ashton

17/11/2025

Saturday was the last day of ‘Mather’s’ in Ashton! The shop sold pretty much straight away when I advertised about 7 weeks ago and it’s gone through super quickly! It was very emotional leaving but it’s in good hands and will now be Smith’s Sandwich Bar run by the lovely Lauren & Dave….supplied by Mather’s Butchers 😉 It’s been a crazy 10 years to say the least! Smiths are keeping everything EXACTLY the same as Mather’s so you can still enjoy your favourite food and flavours as before. Mather’s will be delivering fresh meat daily so you’ll not even notice a difference 👍 The team in there now transferring to Smith’s are the best! It will be a huge success I’m sure as it has been for me.

Good luck to Lauren & Dave and if you can all follow their FB page they would really appreciate it!

Thanks to all of our lovely customers in Ashton, we’ve loved being part of your community for 10 years and I’m sure we’ll still see you when we’re popping in with deliveries.

Lastly, thanks to the amazing team in Ashton! We’ve had a blast! Such funny and crazy memories to look back on! I swear if ITV did a fly on the wall in our shop we’d all be millionaires by now and taking part in I’m a Celebrity 🤣🤣

Take care, Love Susan, John and the Mather family! 💞

⭐️⭐️ Business For Sale!!⭐️⭐️

Mather’s Sandwich Bar - ASHTON

After 10 years of serving the lovely people of Ashton we have decided as a family to run from just the one location in Pemberton.

Our Ashton shop is up for sale however is for sale as a ‘going concern’. This means we hope whoever invests in the business continue to serve our current offerings and more with the team we have. As the saying goes ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ 😄

The business has gone from strength to strength each year and is a solid, successful sandwich shop. For the right person, the potential and current trading proves to be highly successful and profitable.

For now it’s very much business as usual and we’ll see you very soon for your Mather’s usual 👍🥓🍔🥗🍗

Please direct any enquiries to [email protected]

Many thanks 💕

Please can a lady who works at Snuggledown called Becca please call the shop. I’ve tried to call the office but as it’s such a big company they cannot locate you. If anyone knows a Becca from Snuggledown I’d be grateful if you can pass the message on.

Many thanks 👍
