I have been overwhelmed with the amount of you asking me where I’m heading next when the restaurant finally closes at the end of the week. So I’m very excited to tell you I will be going to a pub in Astley called The Archer.

The pub is run by Joanne and Jason who are very good friends of mine and Beki’s

I met Joanne and jason around 10 years ago when I applied for a job at the courtyard bistro in lowton . And I was lucky enough to get given the chance to run the kitchen. And instantly fell in love with their very friendly and warming presence . We served great food at the bistro and quickly gained an amazing reputation that went from strength to strength . It’s also where I met beki and after 3 years we decided to open the black pepper

When we made the extremely hard decision to close the black pepper , Jason reached out and offered me a chance to work with him again which I quickly accepted . And over the next few months we hope to elevate the food at the archer to new heights and be the best pub for miles

You will love Joanne and Jason and his lovely team, and be very warmly welcomed into their pub. So please come and visit me . I will keep all the socials open so you can follow our progress . These are going to be very exciting times at the archer and I would love all my amazing customers / friends to be a part of the journey. Just like you were for the black pepper
