Events like today at Haigh Hall are so important because they bring people together, showcase people's abilities, and demonstrate the positive impact that quality social care can have. We have amazing opportunities in the Wigan Borough and all providers are passionate about creating opportunities where everyone feels valued, included and able to thrive.

The weather (all seasons in one day) doesn’t put us off!

Wow!!!

To be recognised alongside so many inspiring organisations is a huge honour. This nomination is a reflection of the passion, dedication, and hard work that goes into everything we do to support our Trainees and community every single day.

This achievement wouldn’t be possible without our amazing team of staff, volunteers, supporters, partners, and everyone who has believed in our mission. Thank you for being part of our journey.

No matter what happens on awards night, being recognised as a finalist is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with so many fantastic businesses and social enterprises across Wigan.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has kindly left a tip in the cafe or shop this year - your generosity has helped to make an amazing summer celebration!
From picnics, karaoke, pizza, ice cream, games days and a pub meal - it has been the best few days!
And now time for feet up and a rest - See you all in September!

We are officially closed for the summer!

The Trainees have worked so hard and its now time for some well earned rest over the summer (after a few days celebrating together in true Hamlet style).

We will see you in September when we re-open - ready to welcome everyone back with a smile!

Josh is Deputy of the Week!

Josh is such a team player - always finding ways to help and keeping on working until the very last job is done (even heading into other vocations to make sure they have finished everything too!)
Your hard work has been noticed by all of the staff and made us really proud Josh!

Well done to our amazing trainees who completed their Duke of Edinburgh Gold expedition earlier this week. They all did so well, supported one another at every opportunity, and got stuck in with all of the activities!

Lovely Laura is our Deputy of the Week!
Laura has coped amazingly with lots of changes up at The Hamlet recently (including a very busy Leaver's Celebration). Despite all of the changes Laura has carried on working hard and smiling away - keep up the great work Laura!
