Double Deputy of the Week: Jack and Will!

These two members of our football team from Friday's tournament really shone with their sportsmanship, eagerness to join in and their confidence. The difference 12 months has made for these two men is outstanding - from not having the confidence to join in to now being keen to play for their team and both scoring goals!!!

We are so proud of your progress Jack and Will - keep up the good work (and the goals!!).

On Friday we hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning and were over whelmed by your generosity, raising £314. 87.
Thank you so much to everybody who donated cake, time and money to support us raising money for such a great cause.

A special thank you to Liz for your time running the coffee morning and keeping everyone happy with cake.
And to the ukulele band who provided amazing music to entertain our customers whilst they ate their cake!

🏆 WE’RE FINALISTS! 🏆

We are absolutely humbled and incredibly proud to share that The Hamlet Wigan CIC has been named a finalist for CIC of the Year at the Wigan Borough Business Awards.

To be recognised alongside so many amazing organisations across our borough means so much to our whole Hamlet family.

But for us, this isn’t just about an award. It’s about our incredible trainees — the young people who inspire us every single day with their courage, determination, resilience and achievements.

Whatever happens on Saturday, one thing is certain…

Our trainees are always winners. 🏆❤️

They are the reason we do what we do. They remind us that with the right support, opportunities and belief, there really are no limits to what young people can achieve.

A huge thank you to whoever took the time to nominate us, to our incredible staff who give their all every single day, our trustees, families, supporters, partners and everyone who believes in what The Hamlet stands for.

And most importantly, thank you to our trainees for making The Hamlet the very special place it is. ❤️

Saturday will be a celebration — whatever the outcome, we will be there with enormous pride, cheering on our Hamlet family.

Finalist. Proud. Humbled. Grateful.

🏆
