We’re bringing organisations from across Wigan together for an Adult Sports Day at Laithwaite Park on Thursday 24th September, and we’re looking for teams to get involved.
It’ll be a proper old-school Sports Day with a mix of classic pair and team events - think three-legged races, egg and spoon, sack races and plenty of friendly(ish) competition.
It’s a chance to get your team out of the usual work environment, do something completely different together and connect with other organisations from across Wigan - while helping raise money for a local cause.
The event will take place at Leisure United Laithwaite Park, Wigan, WN5 0UE, on Thursday 24th September from 9:30am - 3pm. Teams are made up of six people and cost £100 to enter, with food included for everyone taking part.
Teams can be made up of people from one organisation, or smaller organisations are welcome to join together to make up a team of six.
The event is raising money towards the Bean Better Coffee Cart - basically, a way for us to pack up Bean Better and take it anywhere, so we can get out into communities across Wigan, and give more men a reason to get out of the house.
