Established in 2000 in their home by chef Nikki Billington and front-of-house Paul Watson, JoJo’s Restaurant don’t do “nowt fancy” or formal, just incredibly tasty cooking with a conscience using sustainable ingredients. Family run (and family friendly), fun and honest, JoJo’s is fully licensed and serves freshly cooked home-made food with a Mediterranean influence such as gorgeous Gre
ek salads, mixed mazes, grilled sardines with lemon and black pepper, mouth watering mutton and feta koftas, marinated olives and authentic cure meats. If you have any room left we offer a choice of delicious home-made puddings plus a selection of fantastic cheeses. Most of our dishes are made for sharing and all are freshly cooked to order. We only use high-quality ingredients and trusted local suppliers, all our meat and eggs are free range, and our fish, of course, comes only from sustainable stocks. The JoJo’s garden has started contributing to the kitchen as well, providing seasonal organic vegetables and leaves. JoJo’s stocks a small range of quality wines that are sold by the bottle (white, red, rosé, Prosecco and Champagne) and many are available by the glass. We also have a variety of quality bottled beers, lager and cider. Freshly made coffees, teas, Fentimans ‘real’ fizzy drinks and a selection of chilled fruit and soft drinks are also available bottled water. Booking is almost essential for the restaurant. TAPAS & COCKTAIL BAR
Our Tapas & Cocktail Bar is the perfect place for an informal drink and a small plate or two of something delicious from the JoJo’s kitchen. No booking required however space is limited so it is first come, first served. We serve drinks accompanied by small plates of Mediterranean influenced meze food. With room for around 20 people, the JoJo’s bar has a selection of cocktails plus champagne, Prosecco, spirits, quality wines and bottled beers along with great coffee, fresh juices and a range of soft drinks. When the kitchen is open we serve small plates of hot food including such as home-made croquettes, cooked chorizo with honey and paprika, Spanish mozilla sausage, deep fried feta and liver with traditional sherry. Plus there will always be chilled plates and nibbles including olives, chorizo and other hand-carved hams, hummus and crostini, home-made pork scratching, a selection of cheeses and our own spiced nuts.
